Holiday in Damouchari, Pelion 2

Every morning we got up early and walked up to the view point on the hill next to the beach. It's the foot path to Fakistra and Tsagkarada. (I will do walk blog later) This foot path, with stoned, very steep and slippliy if wearing non-grip walking sandals or shoes. It took us about 20-25mins or so to the top kiosk(view point) or 10-15mins to lower view point. We did qi-gong/taichi there for almost everyday till we had storm for about 4days in the middle of our holiday. Of course, my bum hurt. Walking up and down actually working on my bum muscle! It's called Puige leg. It happens when I go up Puige in Mallorca too. Oh, my legs and bum hurt especially for first a couple of days walking on flat surface, funny that. Anyway, sunrise and view from there were beautiful. No one was around...except, olive man , who drove down from wherever he came from on his 4WD jeep to water his precious olive trees. This is the view.

Looking down Damouchari beach.

Sun came up from the sea horizon.
First morning there we woke up, and remembered last year. Sun came up right in front of our room. Magic. Sunrise 7.20am-ish. It went up pretty fast too.

It was 13th day on out holiday we found footpath to Damouchari castle. It's now ruins on the little hill/mountain next to the beach, to be precise, right between "Grumpy granny's" house and "Alex the Dog's" house. Previous day, I saw some people walking up to the castle. Till then, I didn't see anyone up there, so I assumed it was privately owned. Anyway, when we went there, there was red mark, which meant footpath! We walked around the castle and also found good spots for standing qi-gong. We did our morning routine there last 2 days. It was cool.
